Frequently asked questions.
If your question isn't here, write to us or book a demo.
An AI-powered integral wellbeing ecosystem for companies. It has three pillars: physical infrastructure installed at your company (Sala, Corner or Nano), a wellbeing app guided by Alma, and on-site visits from health professionals.
Yes. Each pillar is hired on its own: a physical space, the app, or the health team's visits. They can also be combined into one integrated program, and you can add pieces over time.
It depends on what you turn on and how many people take part. In the demo we give you a range based on your numbers. The initial assessment has no cost.
The app goes live in days. A Corner or a Nano, in weeks, depending on the installation and the internal communication. A Sala needs a space of at least 7 m² and is coordinated with your facilities team.
Your goals, sites and shifts, your internal channels to communicate and, if you choose a physical space, the room. Makana installs, activates, runs the sessions and reports.
The platform alone isn't enough. We activate the program on the ground in four ways: internal communication ready for your channels, printed pieces around the workplace, recurring visits from the health team, and internal ambassadors trained by Makana.
The Sala Makana starts at 7 m². The Corner takes up 1.1 × 0.5 m and fits into an office or a plant. The Nano Module measures 35 × 35 cm and works to get started in tight spaces or at events.
Physical recovery equipment with protocols guided from the app: massage chair, compression, percussion, and routines for neck, back and legs, depending on the format. People check in with a QR code and follow their progress.
Support and maintenance are part of the program. We coordinate the repair or the replacement with your team so the space keeps running.
Alma is the AI agent that helps each person navigate every Makana module. It brings the benefits your company offers into a single chat and explains how to use them, including your supplementary health insurance if you have one.
Five dimensions of wellbeing: mental health, nutrition, physical wellbeing, finances and community. It also includes connected wearables, the company's benefits in one place, and guidance on health insurance.
Yes. The app and Alma can be hired on their own, for teams in the office, in the field, or spread across several sites.
Physical therapists, nutritionists and psychologists from Makana's health team, who visit your teams regularly at the office, the plant or the work site.
Sessions and activities at the workplace. Each visit leaves a plan in the app that the person can follow week by week, and the aggregated information comes back in the program reporting.
Wherever your team operates, with recurring visits across Latin America.
Only aggregated, anonymized data: participation, habits, treated areas and progress by team. Never an individual person's data.
We comply with Ley 19.628 (Chile's data protection law in force) and we are getting ready for Ley 21.719 (the new one that replaces it). Results are measured together with Universidad Católica, with support from ANID.
We design the offer together, you take it to your book of business and Makana runs it: implementation, activation, sessions and support. We measure by group for renewal conversations.
Yes. The app's identity and onboarding, the communications, the graphics in the spaces and the reports are all customized. The technology, the health team, the activation and the data safeguards stay with Makana.
